why Am i a witness of jesus christ?

as a child i was sent to church on a bus. as an infant i was baptized in the catholic church. Never knew it, didnt mean a thing to me. when i was about 8 or 9 i think i saw a tv show about priests who made vows of poverty. When i was about 9 or 10 i experienced a terrifying experience where i think i died in my sleep. maybe the bed was poisoned maybe it was intended for my grandfather because it was his camper in which i slept. all i know is i couldnt sleep. i struggled against something and when i finally stopped resisting i was lifted up into the sky like a catapult. at the apex i beheld the form and image of a man and as we came together, face to face, and eye to eye, i became fearful and then as i started to fear i began to fall back toward my bed and then i woke up. At one time i believed i saw myself but i also saw a man. When i opened my eyes i was so frightened that i got up out of bed and walked around my fathers house 3 times before i woke him up.
later i complained about seeing spots in my eyes and was taken to an eye doctor. maybe im forgetting some details or have out of order. but thats ok.
after we saw the eye doctor i had another interesting experience. i heard a voice ask me when i was going on my mission. I replied something like: when the cost of lumber is multiplied by 3x. Lumbermans was managed by a father of a freind of mine. Well, the economy has now tripled since than and then some. i think i have been on a mission ever since i was first ordained and that was in 1984 or there around. i know i was ordained in 1992-3 as and elder.

when i was 15 or 16 someone taught me about the rapture and i wanted to be part of it and not left behind so i began getting interested in relgion. One day while watching the 700 club i heard an invitation to pray with Pat robertson I think I prayed to be baptized in the spirit. within a short while if not the next day or that same week, I received a visitation in my bedroom from what I thought was jesus christ but it mustve been an answer to the prayer and getting baptized in the spirit because the entire room was filled with white light and the personage that was in my room can only be described as an angle or Jesus himself. as my back was toward the door and i was laying on my bed the person moved to touch my shoulder. Thinking it was my brother sneaking up on me I whipped around in order to scare him. as i moved the vision vanished and i was left alone in the house. I searched the inside and the outside and when i came back in and looked at the clock i noticed that my brother was not due home for another half hour. I dont believe i had been home more than 15 min.
there is another story about the rock n roll i liked to listen too.
also, when i was about 15 or 16 i had been given a bible and was reading it at school during lunch in private. I believed what i read in the gospel of matthew and in romans. i began to watch tv evangelist on cbn. One day i prayed on my knees to know how to pray, as soon as i stood up i heard a spirit prompting, telling me to turn on the tv. when i did, there was a minister teaching the lords prayer in Luke 11, the same question was asked by one of the disciples. and i memorized the lords prayer and almost never forgot it. I found that there are two versions of the prayer so i began to combine them in different forms.

ok i had just seen Jesus christ and I had just missed the rapture, thats what i thought. so i went to my bedroom and knelt on my knees and began to pray and ask for forgiveness. later i remembered the prayer about being baptized in the spirit and realized imight have just seen an angel. but many christian churches later kept tell me that it was satan appearing as an angel of light. It never occcurs to people that are indoctrinated that maybe it was simply a true angelic encounter.
i began reading and studying and praying more. From this day on I knew there was a God despite what had actually happened. or despite what people would tell me.
later that year I think, I experienced another visitation, but the details are not so sure. I was laying in bed on christmas eve and I beheld two images on either side of me while my eyes were closed. they lifted me upright in bed and then i heard a voice speak to me. as i opened my eyes I somehow knew and believed i had just heard the voice of God i repeated what i had heard twice and went back to sleep. On christmas morning I was the only one that had not received a christmas present, except a toy puzzle from my grandmother. Since then i have come to know what hypnogogic dreams are. and it is debateable whether the two images i saw were my cousins who were asleep on the floor. Could the voice have come from my Uncle as it was intended to be? or was it truly the voice of God. SomeONE spoke and two persons lifted me upright in bed. Cant deny that.
So i thought i was blessed and given a gift of the spirit.
For the next 2 or 3 years i studied intently and preached openly, Even at school i would forsake my education to make hand-outs with scriptures on them. i even sang hymns as people came out of pep assembly. the principle threatened to expel at one time. i didnt believe in Athiest government controled public schools. So why bother. the only thing i ever learned that did me any good was typing class.
anyway, i was moved to a different school where i had grown up years earlier and fell in with my old freinds again. i began to fall into the same things i did as a juvenial. I started smoking pot again, and someone gave me some lsd, which I cannot describe to you how much i hated it. and i began to drink beer, lots of it.
during a drinking session that lasted 8 months, before i quit and repented, i called a freind outside to fight. he hit me pretty hard and we fell down and rolled in the grass. i smelled dog poop and decided to quit.
asociated with this fight there was a day when i was tired and at that time I was living in the den downstairs, iwent to lay down and heard a knock at the door i got up to see who it was and i saw a spirit floating above the back steps. i could see he was smiling but his forehead was hidden behind the door header. i waved him off and went back to lay down. I struggled to start breathing again as if i had stopped breathing completely. i heard another knock at the door and got up but this time it was a 13 year old neighbor kid looking for a mutual freind. idont know for sure if he was 13. i was perplexed because i could easily remember this is not what ihad seen just before. was he the one that knocked previously too? he was the only one there. was the spirit i saw his guardian angel, was it the holy ghost? i dont know. i knew of a scripture that said wo unto the servant when the lord comes shall find drinking and hitting his servants.
but it wasnt until i had smoked something bad, 2x, where i smoked some pot and had m80's exploding inside my head. im pretty sure this is the cause of some of my mental illnesses that plagued me later on. Mostly sleep deprivation. im not sure. but because of these two experience i knew i had to repent and it had to be sometime between october and april. I thought i was going to die. The lsd i took also had some rebound affects on my mind, either that or I was being poisoned on a different source of drugs i had never taken. between this and praying for forgiveness and makeing acovenant with God and then also getting hospitalized for mental illness in april or may of the following year alot of things happened both at school and at home. i began studying the scriptures and to repent with a commitment. So one day i was studying in corrithians and found a verse written by Paul which says Desire the gift of prophecy. So i began to pray and fast and with sleep deprivation was visited by an unseen spirit. I thought the spirit was jesus, and i thought it was satan too. I asked the "invisible" spirit about the gift of prophecy and wanted to know what church to join. i wrote the questions on 3x5 cards so i could remember to ask them when the spirit came. When the spirit told me to turn them over, the answers were indeed written on the reverse side. My memory is fuzzy with details. but i was shown a few visions that also answered some questions i had had. i believed truly i had been visited by the spirit of revelation. But when i heard things i didnt believe because i had already been indoctrinated by christianity, i realized it might have been satan. dont know for sure what happned NOW. but i was taught things that are not taught in christianity.
i began to be manic about the visitation and depressed about my sins. So yes i was hospitalized for evaluation. I think it was the drugs and rebound effect because when im left alone, and not poisoned, i know my mind heals. thats another story for a later time.
i now preach dont do drugs. and i have never done drugs, because i know how much i hate them. however that doesnt stop sorcerers and witchcrafts from plaguing me, continually where i open my mouth to bear my testimony. <sigh>

after this short tribulation i was invited to stay with my uncle and he said i could come and visit if i went to church with him. and i had to work after school as a volunteer, he invited me to help my mother and i out to help sort things out. he also sent me a book of mormon which i picked up and began to read joseph smiths testimony. Thats all i read, and because the same thing happened to me, i believed it. He made me give up smoking, so with a prayer and a can of chew i stopped smoking. he gave me a great big hug when i told him that. He invited themissionarie over and they began to give me the "missionary discussions" and i would argue and disagree on everything. until one day they told me about the three degrees of the resurrection. NOw, one of the things i was taught by prophecy and the spirit of revelation was what i thought were the "3" heavens. When the missionaries taught this i began to humble myself and I shut up and began to listen. I think i agreed to be baptized that night, i asked that my uncle baptize me. i was ordained under the laying on of hands by another priest, not an elder, and that request caused some debate among the few priesthood leaders.
i spent the next year or so NOT active in the church and this is when i think i had the previous visitation. i was asked to help my aunt drive her household stuff to portland. where i decided to leave her apartment, and i dont think i told anyone, but i stayed in a church parking lot and went to the lds church down the road. i found freinds in the area and they actually found me a place to live. it was a basement room in the dark without lights.
One night i had a dream, and these people came to me and judged me, and threw me into a pit. I woke up screaming and clawing against the cement foundation. That year Ghost busters was a big hit too. i got a rommate  and moved into a corner room and because he was a seventh day adventist i learned things about his church. i was studying the scriptures again and was praying with tears to believe what i was being taught and found that "THE TRUTH" is not always Plain and simple, especially when every other religion seems to teach things that the LDS teach that they are not true. I had to struggle with the doctrine of eternal marriage, btw which was another of the doctrines taught by the spirit. Eternal marriage was not in the scriptures. Or so i thought. i did find some remnants of confirmation in the old testament. adam and eve were husband and wife and were married by God, marriage is ordained of God and What God does he does eternally. I also found some anti-mormon literature which i studied page by page. but everything i read was a testimony to the contrary. what i read was both NOT true and at the same time proved to me teachers of righteousness can be liars and misinformants as well as deceived by PURE Gossip and hearsay. but they believe it because thats what they are taught.

satan can inspire just as much as an angel of light and ministering angles. Men have learned how to use sorcery to deceive many religious people and they are all taught by Satan. hence the reason why there are so many different churches and religious beliefs.

so, after a few years of studying the scriptures on the LDS side of theology. and living a life I thought was righteous. i came to a solemn assembly when president benson was sustained as the new prophet.  or was it hinckly. My mind is fuzzy on the detail. but i refused to raise my hand in sustaining one of the new presidents. I was now at this time living at my dads house in the back of my van parked outside in his driveway. with some amount of humility and the need to repent of other sins, i prayed and fasted again. this time I sustained the new presiding Elder of the Lds church and was given a blessing as a spirit layed his hands on my head and  i noticed an immediately blessing of peace. This is when i received 3 other visions also. The first one was when i was asleep in my van and the doors were opened. Was there a human that opened them. if so who was it? but i did see the glory of the LORD jesus christ clothed in the sun, very much like the painting of jesus which is in the photo album. which is also very much like the verse in the scriptures. i walked in the spirit for a month after that. no temptation could overtake me. Can a man walk without sin, I say YES, if he can do it for one day or a week or a month, it can be done. but so many say that we are imperfect and cannot walk without sin. which teaching is the false belief.?
the second and third visions were less like the first and more like a dream. were they hypnogogic? if that is the way the LORD will choose to communicate he can communicate through dreams. but apparantly so can devils and satan. and people who know the cults of hypnotism and mind control and sorceries. sleep deprivation is one of their evil tricks.
the second and third dream visions were about the lord preaching repentance to the inhabitants of the earth. was it the lord, i believed so! calling everyone to repent and believe in him and to come unto him and be gathered like a hen gathers her chicks.  and the other was opening my eyes in the presence of the lord as the voice of one who was unseen declared it, and the words of the lord were I have called you men to be priests. Repent, Believe, come unto him, be the priest I have you called you (all) to be. i didnt see anyone else so i assumed there are others that these words reflect upon.
SO....
with that I became a real witness of jesus. I still expect to see his hands and feet and feel his wounds, because a spirit does not have a body of flesh and bone. A resurrected body of bone and flesh is a spiritual body which will inherit the earth after all things are destroyed that offend. During the millenium. During the thousand years it will take to be resurrect all mankind, all men that have ever lived.

yes i am a witness. but do i have and understand everything that true. Can i teach physics or do brain operations?  NO.
i am a simple man and i remember my covenants that i made. and i testify that these things happened because of my search to know the truth. most people will not believe these words because they are already indoctrinated with teachings that may or may not be from God.

i have lived a hard life of tribulation and terror and torture.

there are several other stories id like to share but if people can receive what i say here how will they receive anything else.
I pray that my time here trying to share these experiences will be faith edifying. maybe you can come and be baptized in the LDS mormon church. I believe the bible and the book of mormon to be true. but i also believe that truth is much more expanded than these. how can a university teach the minds of people if they only have kindergarten books to work with. ??

i pray that the peace of God from above will bless anyone who reads these words. the spirit is not far from me. but the tribulation of the earth is always present.

when i read these two verses i find that these are two different events one is the second comeing

and the other seems to be the very last day of life on this planet. We all know the mellenium has

to begin and last for more than a thousand years. so i believe people get these two days

confused.

  52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
  53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared

unto many.
this verse seems to be a time in history where jesus came as a thief in the night and most people

dont even know about it.  although it definitely cant be confused with the second coming it

however missed by the general public. is the jehova witnessess  who are obsessed with the 144

thousand, is there a connection to this verse and most if not all people resurrected were 144k?
i think this verse describes the the fact that jesus is called the firstfruits but the rest of

the saints in the graves were as much of the first fruits as any.
John 5: 28
  28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall

hear his voice

  20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

but when Jesus has appeared throughout history to many believers. He appears in glory

when Katrina hit the continental u.s. there were people on the roofs and some disapeared while

others lived.  does jesus take all the souls that die? or do angels reap the souls that are

missing. How many people disapear every day and every year? i heard one statistic that over 200

thousand alone disapear every year. some say this estimate is as high as 800 thousand. many of

these children disapear because of criminal activity. but there are stories of adults who

disappear as well! some leave their car parked with keys still inside. it is my firm belief that

Jesus is taking souls, even with the help of reaping-angels but i dont think He would take pilots

of planes in mid air and have everyone else in the plane just die. this may be a "vain"

imagination.

i personally have 2 experiences where i might have been taken away.

There is 4 thousand years of history to study, in order to answer some of these questions.

the first one:

i believe in God because:

both someone told me there was a God and then i read the bible.

 I believed the gospel of mathew to be telling the truth.

i began to learn to pray and MY! prayers were answered immediately. at one time an angel appeared in my room. many christians said it was satan.

on christmas eve i had another great experience, where i believed i heard the voice of God.

 because of this i studied the bible more thoroughly for the next several years to try and figure out what happened.

again i began to pray and fast because i didnt know what church to join, seeing i was already a convert to christianity, i truly believed Jesus christ was the only way. but which church. I was visited again and received answers and revelations and visions with my eyes wide open.

because of the missionary advice from the mormon church which agreed with what i was taught by the gift of prophecy and the spirit of revelation,  i was baptized LDS.

approximately ten years later i received a visitation and 2 follow up visions of jesus, due to my faith repentance and prayer and fasting.  i know there is a God because the Son visited me.

I saw him in  glory and full of power.

As for being where he is needed and is NOT when you do! well there is this little thing called faith, which must be accompanied by repentance and sincerity. IF a person does not have this, then a person is usually left either to the missionary efforts or mortal beings, or they are left to the lower missionary services of lower angels. All these lower levels have their limits and talents and capabilities to help and get their message across, if a person of faith receives these efforts and the lower angels still cant help they call for help from others that might be able to. Faith is the key in everything that comes from God.  Why send an angel when a COW will do! (quote for a general conference held in the early 80's)

as for every religion believing they are the correct one. <sigh>.

its a sad fact that satan uses this tactic as propaganda to decieve everyone. prophets truly bring the ONLY message from God, Jesus was the word of God, he spoke only the truth, but that doesnt stop the confusion between all churches because of disagreement and translation and interpretation.

At one time Adam and Able were the true prophets that spoke for God. Noah had the responsibility after the flood.  and Abraham came along and gave his tithes either to noahs son or to noah himself, but the covenant of God came to Abraham and his sons.  but before moses could meet God the world had already corrupted All forms of the messages that the world received from the previous patriarchs. and of course abraham had sons that were either murderers or a servant of satan. which comes from the corruption of the church of babylon. (hence Jesus called the leaders of the jews and religion murderers and children of satan.)

False religion started with Cain and many people always follow the false gospel whereever miracles are forged and false testimony is given.

what you see in the christian religion goes back to constantine and througout all history wherever the false gospel has existed people have sworn allegiance to men who showed powers of god but it was not God, it was satan. Satan causes all of the confusion and his religious system today, known in the book of revelation as babylon, or the great-whore, has aways used the deceitfulness of sorcery to beguile and mesmerize their followers, even the saints of christianity have been deceived. See Rev 18:4, 23,24; 17:1,5

So, when one prophet says they have the truth, the tradition of the truth remains in all its forms  and people will not give up their traditions that have corrupted the truths, and though God has many times forsaken the unrepentant or has no more men of faith on the earth, what we get is people that have corrupted versions of the truth, but blind faith in them, and will not turn away from their False teachings.

 For a lack of understanding men will perish, but for the lack of faith full understanding cannot be given.
